How to Fight Birds in the Fields

 Technological progress is not always able overcome the problems faced by humanity. This can be seen in people’s lives in overcoming various natural phenomena to defend themselves from a variety of disorders. For example, to repel birds in the fields, the famers in Bali do something like make scarecrow and make the propeller from scarf materials.

Can used for producing sounds, bamboo is used as platform, and plastic is used as a screen for windmill blades. This equipment is hanged with a rope on the end of bamboo poles in order to adjust to the direction the wind blows. Wheels kept turning and moving the bat. Stick of bamboo will spank cans and produce sound. Although the resulting sound produced is very noisy, but it is also able to repel birds in the fields. Usually many famer make that when the harvest period comes because of the season a lot of birds that want to steal rice in the field. Thanks to the power of this traditional way, so that famers in Bali are still using the traditional way to repel birds until today.
